Country Meets Folk

Do you remember the BBC radio program "Country Meets Folk"

It was hosted by the late Wally Whyton

I used to love that program. I feel the boundaries between Folk and Country overlap now more than ever.

It never fails to amaze me that when you ask someone if they like Country, they say no and then go on to play and sing Country type songs. If a song is meaningful, melodic and performed with "Feel" I believe the connection between artist and audience is complete.

I grew up with Country and Folk music. These days I find that people accept the two together.
